WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? Woof Woof Woof , YOUR CLUB NEEDS HELP!

It's The Holiday Season, and why is your club, your lounge, your
restaurant still lingering? Could it be your Promotions, your weak marketing, your image, your
crowd, or lack of, your menu, your service, your atmosphere?
Or all of the above? WHO LET THE DOGS OUT? This is not only the hottest Crowd Song out, it's
also a great Mantra for you to get on the ball, and make sure everything
from your marketing and promotions to your atmosphere and music, to your front
entrance to your rest rooms, as Archie Bell and The Drells use to sing,
"Tighten Up".
What are you doing different from your Competition? What are they doing different from you are?
I see Message Boards all over the Net, with DJ "s asking, 'What
can I do to bring back our nights, what can I do to promote our club, our Owner
won't spend any money and our business is falling off dramatically."
I also chuckle at these postings, when a DJ cares more about a Club
than an Owner, it's a shame the DJ does not own the club. Other Postings I see a lot are "What can I do to that's new and
fresh?"
There are so many different promotion possibilities out there, you have
got to be on top of the current trends, fads, what's hot and what's
not. A simple comparison of hot Vs not, is SURVIVOR Vs Big Brother.
One show was on fire and captured and captivated the World, the other
show was a bomb and dud.....The point I am making is, you have got to be dialed in and completely
attuned to what is going on in the pop culture, the music, the movies,
the books, the fashion, the language, the life styles, you can't simply
play music, serve drinks, and expect your club to be packed.
I am often asked by Clubs for input and advice off the cuff, I can't
help them. I can't wave a magic wand and presto.....your club is packed, your
restaurant has a waiting line. I take an extraordinary amount of information and input and background
in order to help clubs and restaurants return to greatness.
Clubs and restaurants don't fall on hard times over night, they develop
a syndrome and put themselves up against a wall of poor promotions, bad
music, cheesy drink specials, rude employees, violence and trouble by the
crowd they allow in, restaurants develop a bad reputation based on poor service,
bad food, rude and non caring management.
Consistency is the key to success, the Colonel may be dead, but the KFC
Chicken still tastes the same.
