WHASSSSSSSSSSSSSUP WITH YOUR CLUB!!!

Whassssssssssssssup with your club? When was the last time you were packed on a week night?  When was the last time you were packed on a Sunday Night?  Here's a Real Rich Relate Story....

A resturant/nightclub Operator in Florida called me recently, he had a problem that I in 20 years have never ever come across.  He is packed every Sunday night with over 1200 people at $10 a head, but......he is so so on Friday Nights and so so on Saturday Nights and closed the rest of the week.  Now, what's wrong with this picture?

First of all, Sunday Nights are a very tough night to crack.  I applaud their success in creating a remarkable Sunday Night, however they are closed Monday through Wednesday and their attempt at a Country Night on Thursday was a dismal failure and their Friday and Saturday nights need major reworking.

I had another bar manager contact me, he has been at the same bar for ten years, and every time he approaches the owners with a promotion idea, they turn him down.
He turned to me for advice and direction.  I told him he is twenty-eight years old, he has his whole life ahead of him and he should seek another bar, lounge, club to manage.   Why knock his head against the wall, when the owners are either burnt out, happy with the status quo or have no faith in him at all.  Either way, he needs to leave this bar and move on.

Far too often bar owners and managers refuse to accept anything new, they think because their numbers are the same, they are safe.  They could never be more wrong.
Change is mandatory in this business, if you ever noticed the major metamorphous MTV went through, they were going stale and growing complacent, and they brought in a wizard who re did their programming and added new life and updated their staleness and now they are once again red hot.

That is what it is all about.
