VOLUME DOWN? PANIC TIME? WHO U GONNA CALL?

There I was sitting in at my desk, when I got the call.  "Mr. Unger, Bob and George would like to see you at 6pm are you available?"  "Why of course I answered."  Bob and George are the owner and general manager of a $3 million dollar a year restaurant and nightclub that just opened a year ago and had retained my services for three packed house promotions that grossed over 19k each.  I repeat, that grossed over 19k each.
but after my 3rd successful event, they thought they could do in house promotions and did not need the Richmiester any longer.

Wrong on all counts..............................I was called because the liquor salesmen and supervisor for a huge liquor company said, 'get Unger back in here'.

It seems biz is down 20% and who better to call for the dramatic, make it
happen turn around but me?  You see when it comes to restaurants, nightclubs, bars and lounges, nobody and I mean nobody does what i do.  I create the promotions from A to Z, I produce, present and promote the theme, the contest, the event, the concert, the party.

I am a one man packing the house machine.  So I met with Bob and George at 6pm, Bob said to me "do you have a pen and paper?", out of my pocket came both and he said, "I need the following, a disco night like this town has never seen, a Mardi Gras party like this town has never seen, a St. Patty's day event that will tower over any irish bars in town, and finally I want a tax day party that will get us on TV".

I said, "fine, I will see you tomorrow at 1:30 with all of the above outlined in specific detail and totally ready to go".  I went back to my office, made six phone calls and typed up a 12 page report, three pages dedicated to each promotion with every single area
addressed from banners to dance reviews, from bands to bar specials, from food specials to fun events, from time of each event to media sources we would need to use.  From
every single cost involved to every prize we would give away, from what the bar staff and kitchen staff had to do, to what the GM had to do.  Needless to say, the disco night will be the biggest this town has ever seen, from a disco band to a disco dance review, from a disco trivia contest to a disco dance contest, from black lights and disco mirror balls, this event will be another Unger huge success.

You see what most managers and owners have to worry about is, the help, the bills, the quality of the food, the condition of the room and the equipment, the payroll, the bathrooms, the weather, patron problems, big party reservations, the only thing i have to be concerned with is..............................every single facet of the promotion.

Thus when you retain me to do the job, you get the best of the best.  Am I honking my own horn? You bet I, am.  I challenge any other nightclub/restaurnt consultant, promoter or professional to do what I do as good as I do it?  Create, design, format, execute and transform an establishment that serves food and liquor or simply just liquor into a packed house "sro" on a consistent basis and make the client a ton of cash?

Oh and do it with a minimum amount of investment.  That is the bottom line.   Getting others to pay for your promotion.  It is perfectly legal and practical. But most operators are fearful of their vendors, they don't know how to approach them and they don't know what to ask for?

I wrote the book on how to make it happen!!!!!!
