Radio Spots Not Working, Flyers Waste of Paper Now What?

So, you've spent your usual $$$$$ with Clear Channel, you've thrown your regular $$$$$ at high gloss flyers and your club is still dead!

So you turn to the usual suspects, your help, your salesmen and worst of all your patrons and you ask them for "PPI" .   "Panic Promote Ideas."  Instead of stepping back and realizing no matter how big your video wall is, no matter how much bass you are putting out, no matter how bright your lights are, your club is DEAD.

I just had the hottest Club in Pa. call me, "We are spending thousands on radio and our Friday Nights are as empty as Saddam's Palace."

I mean, they can't understand that it doesn't matter how much you spend, it matters what the "FUN" is your providing your patrons with.

I just had the Manager of a beautiful new Ocean Front Nightclub and Restaurant in Destin, Florida call me, "Help our Owner has no clue".

"We are dead and we just opened."

Why because he is discounting the food and beverage and not providing his new found patrons with the "FUN."

I just had a Club in Prarieville, La. call me the Owner asks me to speak with his Manager who tells me "Why did he contact you, he won't listen, he won't do what he needs to, make money and put bodies in this club."

I asked his Owner the same question, No Response............

Man if there were a Contest called "American Arrogant Nightclub Owner," the competition would make "American Idol" look like a cake walk.

American Nightclub Owners have no clue, zero as to what the trends, styles, and what's going on in the World of 24 to 54 year olds.

That is the core radio market, in fact it goes a year earlier,25 to 54, I extend it a year, due to the times of today and the lives we live.

Clubs are going to go down, just like "Pop City" did in Ybor City, wrong concept, wrong marketing, wrong strategies, and bottom line "NO FUN".......
