OWNERS WHO ARE TOO OLD, TOO STUBBORN & TOO ARROGANT!

With so many new clubs opening and so many old clubs who have never been threatened by any club taking their business, it's really time that some Owners hire new young vibrant Managers and others sell out to fresh young in your face Owners.

I speak to Owners all the time from Oklahoma where one Owner opened for six weeks and then gave up on his club he didn't know what he was going to do with his club.  He said "I read the market wrong."

Then there's the New York Club Owner who thinks he knows it all, but is so far out of the loop, he didn't even bother to do business in July and August.  I mean the words "Excuse," the word "procrastination" and the word "cavalier" should be tattooed on the arm, back or lips of these Owners.

They have no clue and refuse to change to alter to modify in order to meet the competition head on.
Seriously in decades of eating, sleeping and breathing this business, I have never seen such Owners who are so out of touch, they think Monica Lewinsky is still a Whitehouse Intern.

I mean, I speak to Owners who are so out of it, they are what I refer to as in the "Dick Clark Syndrome," somebody has to tell them, "it's time for you to go."  Or, it's time for you to accept change.

I had a sixty-one year old Owner call me who was so out of the "loop" so out of what he should be doing, I said "Have a great time with your club, but I can't bear to hear this dinosaur chat from you anymore."  I mean come on, life is too short and in the club business it's even shorter.

If your Club Owner is going to have "diamonds in the hay" contests, and "drinks for fifty cents" get as far away as possible from this runaway train. Clubs have shorter life spans now than ever before in this industry.

Reasons are:

  1. Lack of proper marketing
  2. Lack of "THE FUN"
  3. Absentee Management
  4. Lack of Strict dress code and behavior Policy.
  5. Failure to compete and inability to mix it up with the competition.

Owners who think they know it all are their own worst enemy, they refuse to change, they refuse to realize that their club is nose diving and needs a major infusion of "The Fun."

If your Owner is lost in space and has no grasp on the reality of his own club's situation, pick up the phone, dial 1-941-921-7027 and tell him to speak to me, chat with me and let me fire him up, light him up and rock his world with new promotions, themes, events, concepts, themes, parties and contests, man the best Holidays lay ahead, don't lost tens of thousands of dollars this year, by doing nothing again.
