Your Nightclub Is Dying, Can You Hear Me Now?

Remember the good old days, when your Club was the Master of the Nightclub Universe, and you were the King of the Mountain?

Well, look at your club now and take a real hard look at your promotions, your marketing and your mentality.

Now do the words "burnt out," "out of it" and "lost my way" have any meaning?  Well, they should, because you have allowed your club to enter the "Failure Zone."  You listened to all the wrong people, spent way too much money, and got absolutely no bang for your buck and no patrons for your payments.
Don't feel alone, there are so many club owners and managers doing tail spins, that I have a constant flow of DJs, bartenders and even doormen emailing me saying "Help My Club."

I ask what's wrong, they say "Management is panicking and giving the house away to lure in patrons and it's not working".  " We are letting in trouble makers, we are giving ladies free drinks, we are spinning the wrong jams, we are letting the club die"

CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? GOOD!

You cost your club tens of thousands of dollars this Summer by not opening enough nights, not promoting the nights you were open, giving away cheap drinks and relaxing your dress code in a typical "Panic Promote" mode.

Now you face Fall coming and what are you prepared to do different?

I have so many people contact me with the same common question "I was thrown into promoting the club I work at and have no idea what to do."

Why would any competent Manager or Owner "throw" some bartender, some DJ, somebody who has absolutely no credentials or experience into the most important position in the club?

Let me pose the following Twenty Two Questions to you and if your Club fits more than ten, your club is in dire shape?

  1. Your DJ is horrible, he is arrogant, and has an ego and horrendous attitude?
  2. Your Crowd is dwindling faster than people can remember who Al Gore was?
  3. Your employee morale sucks, people who work at the club go thru the motions, but don't have their hearts or souls in what they do?
  4. You are letting more under 21 age clubbers in, than over 21 and your desperate to take in cash.
  5. Your not offering drink specials, your giving away free drinks just to bring in patrons?
  6. Your bathrooms look like Mike Tyson threw a fit in them?
  7. Your lights are missing bulbs, your bars are missing brands and your mirrors are disgustingly dirty?
  8. Your Manager is about as valuable as an Oreo Cookie without the middle?
  9. Your Bartenders have mouths like Andrew Dice Clay and Chris Rock?
  10. Your idea of a promotion is to copy what the club down the street is doing?
  11. You don't even go in anymore except to count the money in the morning and even then, you can't stand walking into your own club?
  12. You have a club promoter who thinks he's your partner and you can't live without him?
  13. You listen to your radio rep spend all the money and still nobody shows up?
  14. You look the other way when drugs are being used ? ( I hope you go out of business)
  15. You allow conduct that should result in being barred from your club?
  16. You allow slobs in?
  17. You hear the "F" word more than you do "The"?
  18. You are letting your club become an albatross?
  19. You let your door people act like animals rather than meet and greet Hosts and Hostesses?
  20. You realize you are losing business to other clubs, but you don't do a damn thing to stop it?
  21. You listen to anybody, I mean anybody who says "do this or do that"?
  22. You are about at the end of your wits?

TIME TO CALL THE "BIG DOG"..............
Time to stop wasting time, losing money and market share.
