THE HOLIDAYS ARE ALMOST HERE, NOW IT'S TIME TO TAKE NO PRISONERS!

By Rich Unger

Okay, Summer is finally gone and none too soon.
Your club, Your bar, your Pub, your Restaurant was dead.
COME ON, ADMIT IT, your numbers were horrible.

Your days and nights were so slow, you were hoping even the audience from AMERICAN IDOL came in, so what if they were too young, at least they were warm bodies.  Your weeknights were ghost towns, your weekends were half or less of what they use to be.  Now it's time to get your head together and lay out the promotion plan for the next five months.  I mean, pack, rack, sack and smack your place full of patrons.  Get off your tuchus and call me right now.  No More Excuses. It's time to take back your nights, take back your business and pack your club, your bar, your restaurant.

Here's the bottom line, you can either poke and hope for patrons to patronize you, or you can make it happen.  You must have a Promotions Calendar, and your nights must be filled with fun, promotions, events and concepts.  STOP GIVING AWAY CHEAP DRINKS, STOP GIVING AWAY FREE COVER CHARGE, did it ever dawn on you that what your doing is begging and pleading for patrons to patronize you?
Did it ever dawn on you, that giving away the house, makes the house look cheap, desperate and in despair?

Here's a perfect example of total "despair," a brand new nightclub opened only two months is now having a Hip Hop Radio Station do live remotes, this is a total sign of desperation.

  1. This is a very upscale club in Florida in an affluent area.
  2. By appealing to these Hip Hop Thugs, they are targeting a market, this club has no business pursuing.

Why, because the thrust of the club is it's mainstream dance band, that the Owner is the leader of.  The Owner having never ever owned a club, has no game plan, no strategy and no path to follow to pack his club with upscale patrons and a non violent and well mannered crowd.  He is going totally against the grain of the entire club's atmosphere, image and reach.  This club is far too new and far too fresh to not have mainstream clubbers and nights with hot promotions that don't cater to or beg "Hip Hopers" to frequent you.

"Hip Hop" nights in this Community have resulted in stabbings, fights, attacks on women, and riots.

Over 25 Police Officers had to respond to the last "Hip Hop" night in this Community.

The ego and arrogance of Club Owners is beyond comprehension.  Why open only to be a fortress, fanning down patrons for weapons, having extra security, being concerned for your female patrons welfare?????

I have zero tolerance for "HIP HOP" Nights.

The behavior, attitudes and demeanor of these clubbers is not worth the cover, they pay, and the fact they are lousy tippers, surely does not endear them to your staff.

There are so many other alternatives to these nightmare nights.  Start marketing promotions, concepts and events that appeal to the masses rather than the classes.

Email me right now, call me right now and put your club on top of it's game, rather than being "HIP HOP" night lame.

The safety factors, the criminal elements, the damage to your club, why are you groveling for business?

The Holidays are upon us, time to make some real cash and without all the hassles............

If your not jammed for Halloween, you either need to seek professional mental help, sell out, or call me.
Take your pick!

But don't be pushed up against your club walls by catering to unsavory and unappreciative and crude and rude punks.............
STOP PROCRASTINATING.
