RECENT EMAILS ...........

Let's begin with Oklahoma, First a Club Owner emails me that his club "is getting buried by a club that opened last June," So, I ask him, "did you take any aggressive marketing, promotions and advertising to counter his Grand Opening, did you implement any strategies to take the thunder out of his opening sales?".....

Answer "No."

This Club Owner allowed his new found competition to  bury him.

He laid over and played dead and let his competition not only establish themselves in the market,  but steal his entire share of it.  While we are in Oklahoma, I received another e-mail from A Woman who's Sister and her opened a new club.

Again, they are giving away free drinks to College ladies and no one is coming,  they are so erratic with their promotions and their target marketing,  that they are busy on Friday and Saturday Nights, but dead the rest of the week,  and they are open Seven Days a Week.

They just opened in Jan. of this Year, and already giving away drinks and reduced cover to lure patrons, both a NO NO............. Then we shift to Canada, a big Club Owner there emails me to say his "Business  is dead,"  he "use to be packed but now  he is "dead."

He has lost his focus and his crowds.

Now lets head back  to Connecticut, where a club owner is in critical mental condition, because the State outlawed anyone under 21 from patronizing clubs, so his is dead. (Anyone who relies on 18 and up to make a living, doesn't know how to run a club) Now lets go North of the border to Ontario, where a club with a bad reputation has a great new Chef, two good DJ's and that's supposed to solve their bad name image on the street.

Oh and here's the classic, this Grill in California emails me "Help, we are serving lots of food, but our liquor sales are way down ," of course they are, your not giving patrons any reasons to stay and drink.......

Finally in Missouri, a Club Owner emails me asking for free advice on "how to pack his club"
