NIGHTCLUB PROMOTIONS, BUT WHERE?

You have a Bar Manager who orders your liquor and beer, a DJ to spin your jams, you have every position in your Club filled, except for the most 'important one,The Promotions Person.
They either designate the DJ, or hire a very pretty looking young lady with zero experience or they rely on their Clear Channel Sales Rep.

Wrong, wrong and wrong again.

First of all, the DJ has no experience in presenting a proper promotion, his motives are simple ego and money.

He has no clue what to do.

Then you have the pretty long legged great bust line new marketing and promotion Fox that the owner hired.

She is nice enough, but again, could not tell you what the difference between a shot and a shooter are, and thinks cheap drinks is the answer.

Finally, you have the Creme, DE Le Creme, the Clear Channel Radio Rep who is only interested in selling you radio time, and then before you run, picking up that check. Too funny, about a Month ago, a Clear Channel Rep and then a Clear Channel Promo Person called, they were having a live remote at a club, ladies drink free, no cover on a Friday night and they needed a "name" for the night?

I said "you mean to tell me you charged the club for the remote, for the DJ's personal appearance, the club has no chance in breaking even and you can't even come up with a theme or name for the Friday Night event?"

They both said "Nope."

I almost roflmao......................................... Radio sales people care as much about you as local bands who play across the street one week and at your club the next week.  Depending on any of the above three choices to lead your Nightclub Promotions defies common sense and logic.

I had a Club Owner who listened to his radio rep went thru $12,000 in three months and called me.

I said it's too late, I can't help you, you have run this club into the ground giving everything away, and doing nothing but advertising cheap drinks and hammering it home so much with the money you spent on radio, you need to close down, change names, change architecture and reopen.

Nightclub Promotions are like your electricity, if you have no lights, you can't see, you can't live you can't do much of anything, but rely on candles, well, apply the same mentality to your nightclub and your lack of nightclub promotions and get back to me?

Look at it this way, you can either close your doors since nobody is in your club,.............................. or you can open them for fresh air, since your packed.
